Thank you Mr Henson, I’d like to call you Jim but I find myself with way too much respect for that. You touched thousands of lives including mine and I think you achieved both your adult and childhood dreams.

Quite possible THE coolest person who ever lived and one of the, if not the, greatest celebrity entertainer of all time. Today’s celebs could learn a thing or two from this great man.

I remember this man and his works well, and always will. He was very important to me in my life, as he played the role of a sort of father figure. I grew up in a household with just my mother, and didn’t have a male role model in my life, but he was there to show guidance in his own way, to teach and nurture. He died shortly after my 24th birthday, I remember that clearly as well as I was in the hospital with pneumonia at the time as well. Always a hero to me, and always a place in my heart.
