It’s formerly known as Discovery Kids, but in the process of the relaunch, it teamed up with Hasbro to basically add a bunch of shows that literally bring famous games to life! Here is a retro commercial that was shown between movies on HBO back in 1987. They called it the “HBO ‘87 World Tour” and its purpose was to get people to subscribe to HBO. This commercial was shown after the TV show “Fraggle Rock” and before the movie “The Goonies”. “It’s HBO in ‘87! It’s the year to watch and the time to get it is now!!” This vintage HBO commercial makes you want to watch all of these great movies from the 80s again. Commercials from the 1980s were so much better than the commercials today. RADICAL!!!
On the 16th, May 1990, widely known puppeteer, Jim Henson had passed away. Jim Henson was the well known creator of Kermit The Frog, Sesame Street and even Fraggle Rock. 20 years have passed and the creator’s well known series is still loved by all today! RIP Jim Henson, you are a world treasure.
